Budget cycles in most European hospital systems are annual and the decisions cluster. Miss the window and the deal does not slip by a month, it slips by a year.
By the time a questionnaire arrives, the security posture is what it is. The variable is how fast you can evidence it.
The first, I hired a country lead from a large corporate. Excellent operator, but used to a support function existing. Six months of frustration on both sides.
